ShelfRadar

Privacy Policy

Last updated 12 August 2026

This policy covers the ShelfRadar app for iOS. The app has no account and no sign-in, so almost nothing about you reaches us at all.

What we collect

If you turn on restock alerts, your device sends us a push token issued by Apple and the product categories you selected. That pair is the entire record we keep of your device.

Turning every category off deletes nothing by itself, but it stops all delivery. Deleting the app invalidates the token, and we disable tokens that Apple reports as no longer valid.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for or store a name, an email address, a phone number, or a password. The app has no account to attach them to.

We do not request or receive your location. Map searches are performed by ZIP code or city that you type, and the results are computed from ZIP centroids, not from your device.

We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell personal information.

Analytics and advertising

The app contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking identifiers.

Service providers

Notifications are delivered through Expo, which passes them to Apple Push Notification service. They receive the push token and the message.

Product and restock data is served from ShelfRadar servers. Those requests are anonymous and carry no identifier.

Links to retailers

Opening a product takes you to a retailer’s own website in your browser. Anything you do there is governed by that retailer’s privacy policy, not this one.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version ships with a new release of the app and the date above changes.
